Interactive Chinese Literacy Class

Interactive Chinese Literacy Class

These levelled literacy classes use a spiral reading approach to help children gradually build character recognition while enjoying Chinese learning. Engaging picture books and interactive activities enhance formal reading skills and foster independent reading habits.

Books Go Around

Books Go Around

We run regular “book floating” exchanges, allowing children to trade one book for another. Parents can also support us by donating and receiving a children’s book. All proceeds support the promotion and preservation of the mother tongue.

Speech Therapy (Individual & Group)

Speech Therapy (Individual & Group)

peech-language pathologist, with over 20 years of experience in Hong Kong, now offers services at our centre. Based on a free Cantonese literacy assessment led by a PhD in education, therapy goals and plans are developed in collaboration with parents.

Clinical Counselling Services

Clinical Counselling Services

Our services are provided by a BC-registered clinical counsellor (formerly a social worker in Hong Kong). We offer support in emotional regulation, family dynamics, stress and trauma recovery—in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Subsidies are available for individuals without insurance or financial resources.

Cantonese Book Set Purchasing

Cantonese Book Set Purchasing

In partnership with Hong Kong’s Ching Tin Education Centre and Cotton Tree Publishing, we assist parents in ordering children’s books and readers from Hong Kong. We also offer teaching kits aligned with the I Can Read on My Own levelled series, including illustrated vocabulary cards, guides, and parent-child materials.
